Identifies displacements, modal geometries, structural dynamics,

Holographic Methods Include:

Real-Time -- Generates fringe-patterns by super-imposing the hologram of stable (undistrurbed) object over the actual object as it is subjected to some stress in real time.

Time-average -- Genrates fringe patterns in hologram created while object is subjected to periodic displacement (vibration)

Multi-exposure -- generates "before and after stress" displacement fringe pattern

Techniques map geometry and magnitude of displacements
